Slash Six Starter Relay

Starter Relay works perfect, replacing my 47-year old one. Easy replacement, just put the wires back in the same place as the old one. Watch the video. Tip - if your starter makes no sound, replace this starter relay first. DO NOT mess with disassembling the right handlebar combination switch. They are very touchy, and if you foul up, the combi switch is NLA, and used ones are VERY difficult to find.

My 1976 R90/6 wouldn't start. I simply heard a clicking sound, so I assumed my relay was good. I replaced the starter, unfortunately had to rebuild the master break cylinder, out the bike together, and nada. So I ordered a new relay... Bam it started right up. Thanks again guys for keeping theses awesome machines running!

I ordered the unit after watching Boxer 2 Valve and Williams excellent video of resurrecting a barn find /6. I received the starter relay and was very glad to see it was well made and I received it very quickly. I was even more impressed to see the terminals were clearly marked as others I've seen are illegible. Kudos to the"Boxer 2 Valve" team, you are all a wealth of knowledge and so willing to share and help us newbies that are just starting the restoration path. Thanks,
