My speedo needle was bobbling above 70 mph up to 10mph. I was worried about an expensive speedo repair...not any more! It is very important to fully seat the cable in the speedo, I took my speedo off and made certain the outer ferrule was fully tightened. It can be easy to mistake partial insertion from full, the cable can hang up a bit. Once in, my expensive problem was completely gone. Every old Airhead should have all new cables.
