Rubber Tire Valve, D15mm w/ cap
Here is a replacement tire valve stem, complete with the metal cap. It's good practice to replace the valve stem each time you change tires or at least every other time!
This is equivalent to the part that BMW offers; for half the price. We have sourced this replacement from a top quality European supplier.

These are a life saver and they come with a first class metal cap. Change these with your tire change. So if you can not remember if you changed the valve stem, just put a new one in. I carry a couple of these as spares. They have salvaged a travel day from being a total loss. Do verify the size your bike rim requires.

These are superior valves. I change tires on BMW's for a lot of folks, if it has been three years or they can't remember when a new valve was installed I pull these out. I had some Asian valves for a while and the failed with in 6 months if installation, no worries with these. Carry one under the seat to share. I have seen road trips turn sour because of valve failure. With determination you can stuff one in the rim hole from the outside in an emergency.

You can likely pick these up at any dealer but the metal valve stem caps with the o-ring inside the cap gives you one additional safety feature if for some reason the valve stem core fails.
