Pannier Latch Adapter Set

These adapter allow the fitment of Hepco & Becker panniers to Original BMW case mounts that do not have tabs welded on the back for the latches. These latches wrap around the case mount tubing and provide 2 M6 attachments points sold as a pair for one side, including all needed fasteners.

Krauser Motocase mounting adapters

While these looks like they would be the elegant solution to mount my new Krauser bags they were not. They are made well of stainless steel, but the notion that they would easily wrap around the stock mounting frame is folly. Stainless steel is stiff and does not conform to the tube frame in a way the mounting holes easily line up. I had to bend them around a piece of tubing approximate the same OD for the pannier. And then it required much metal working to get even close. Once mounted, the upper gusset of the pannier would not allow the adapter to mount high enough to work. After a few hours of trying to make it fit, I gave up. I have ordered the Siebenrock mount (part #4660310) to give them a try. If that does not work, I guess that I'll need to purchase a new Motocase frame. This is getting expensive. My bike is a 1984 R100RS with the stock Motocase frame.
