Hex Key With Round Lug - 6mm

These are very special hex key wrenches (allen wrenches) with a round lug for locking into shallow head bolts. These eliminate the stripping that can occur when using a standard hex key, where they do not fully engage and round off the opening. The button top engages the opening in the shallow head bolt for a secure engagement.

Works great with the shallow head bolts for footrests, parts 7711166 and 7711167 (found in Related Products).

Pro tip: on the long-end, you can cut the hex key off mid shaft to create a stubby L-key and the second piece as the straight lug topped key; then you can insert the straight end into a torque wrench for precision tightening.
