Bib Overall - Blue
As seen on our Boxer2Valve YouTube videos, the Bib Overalls used here by all our mechanics. (check out the videos here Boxer2Valve Channel)
Straight
from Germany, we have imported the Shield Latzhose (lightweight
overalls). These much better than comparable "work overalls" because
they do no get too hot, and move more easily with you as you bend, sit,
or stretch around the bike/workshop. The overalls have several handy
pockets in the bib and on the sides to hold tools, nuts, washers, while
keeping your hands free to keep working.
- Diagonal body made of 100% cotton, approx. 310g/m2
- Zip pocket on the chest
- Additional bib pocket with Velcro
- Adjustable, partially elastic straps
- Lock shoulder buckles
- Adjustable waist
- Side access on the right
- 2 front pockets
- 1 back pocket
- 1 side tool-pocket
- Used daily by our in-house mechanics
- Imported from Germany
NOTE:
Since these do not sit on your hips like regular pants, the sizing may be different. Please determine the circumference of the waist/stomach area to ensure proper sizing. Refer to #3 in our chart for inches reference.

Note: It will take more that blue overalls to make you an Airhead master mechanic, But you are off to a good start... Once you work thru the sizing chart the most critical dimension is #3. I purchased a 40US-56EU. I am 6'-2" 170 LB, 34" inseam. 34 waist. The fit is good for me. The leg feels like it could be an inch longer, and plenty of room at the waste. I can squat down fine and it wears cooler than the traditional one piece blue overalls. No notifiable shrinkage after a couple of washings. There is room to grow with the two position buttons on the waste. Buckles on straps are solid and look like they will last. Very reasonable price given the quality of the garment. And you are on your way to looking cool in your shop. Give them a try!

Everyone should own a pair of these. They are flattering and comfortable. Ladies on the street come up to me ask me for a date. I have to demure as I and happily married, but it’s nice to be wanted. Do yourself a favor and get a pair.

Currently we owned 3 full coveralls for projects of both grease and dirt. Now we use the new Blue coveralls for wrenching motos or vehicles and now save the 3 long sleeve coveralls for the outside dirt jobs. Like the material on the blue bibs, the center velcro pocket too. Not noted is the 3 hip buttons which help getting into the bibs but both me and my son don't use the hip buttons to get in or out. At $40 a good deal to keep your daily clothes clean.
